I was raised on a family dairy farm in central Wisconsin.
I spent many happy hours tending our livestock and enjoying the
fruits of my labors.
I have also spent many days out in the woods hunting or dropping
my fishing line in a local lake.
I have a right to use animals wisely for my
enjoyment and livelihood.
I also have a responsibility to ensure that,
while not treating them as equals, I treat them fairly and with
respect.
